Paragliding accident in Pokhara
A pilot has died and a passenger has been injured in a paragliding accident in Pokhara.
The fistula was paragliding while landing at Siran Campchowk in Fewatal. DSP Subash Hamal of Kaski said that paragliding fell on the ground about 1.5 km above Landing Asia.
The deceased has been identified as Raju Gaire, 38, of Lakeside, Pokhara Metropolitan City-28.
Shila Shrestha, 28, of Budhanilkantha Municipality-2, Kathmandu has been injured.
After the accident, both were rescued and taken to Metro City Hospital at Sirjana Chowk. Doctors declared the driver Nepali dead with head injuries.
According to DSP Hamal, Shrestha’s condition is critical. He is being brought to Kathmandu for further treatment.
