Nepal’s Supreme Court directed to appoint Sher Bahadur Deuba as prime minister by Tuesday

In a landmark verdict, Nepal’s Supreme Court directed President Bidya Devi Bhandari to appoint Nepali Congress chief Sher Bahadur Deuba as prime minister by Tuesday and reinstated the dissolved House of Representatives for the second time in five months. The opposition coalition has decided to form a government led by Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The meeting held in Koteshwor has decided to form a coalition government tomorrow as per the order of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court, which reconstituted parliament, had ordered Deuba to become the prime minister by 5 pm tomorrow. The meeting stressed the need to make the coalition government effective. Baburam Bhattarai informed.
