French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beat Spanish club Barcelona in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League after Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick.

At home, Barcelona could not maintain their lead after the first and suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat.

In the 27th minute of the game at the Camp Nou, captain Lionel Messi scored to give Barcelona the lead. But in the 32nd minute, Mbappe equalized.

PSG scored three goals in the second half. In which Mbappe completed the hat trick by scoring two goals. Mbappe scored his second goal in the 65th minute to give PSG a 2-1 lead. Mois Kane scored the third goal for PSG in the 70th minute. Mbappe completed a hat trick in the 85th minute to give PSG a 4-1 victory.

In another match, English club Liverpool defeated German club RB Leipzig 2-0. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored for Liverpool in the second half at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary. Salah scored in the 53rd minute and Mane in the 58th minute.

Leipzig played a home game in Budapest after the German government did not allow the English team to enter the country due to Covid 19.
