Demonstration in Hetauda demanding abolition of republic and federalism
Proponents of the monarchy have staged a demonstration in Hetauda demanding the restoration of the monarchy, including the Hindu nation.
The national flag of Nepal was carried on motorcycles and vehicles in different parts of Hetauda on Sunday. Led by NDA central chairperson Kishori Mahato, the monarchist youths have protested against federalism and republic. “Federalism is not needed. King, come, save the country”. The restoration of the 2047 BS constitution was also demanded.
The Rally which started from Huprachaur in Hetauda passed through Seemacho, Bus Park, Rapti Road, Buddhachowk, Hedambi Heights, and Nagarpalika Road. There were hundreds of motorcycles and vehicles in the rally.
Without the flow of the Corona transition, slogans were raised against federalism and the government. Pictures from Prithvinarayan Shah to Gyanendra Shah were posted in the youth rally. Youths of various Hindutva parties including RPP, some CPN (Maoist), and Nepali Congress (NC)
“Only the monarchy can give a way out to the country. We have staged this demonstration to revive the 2047 BS constitution by abolishing federalism and republicanism,” Bhrigu Karki, Hetauda deputy metropolitan president of a youth organization close to RPP, told state media. The monarchists have been protesting in various cities of the country in a planned manner lately.
