Bamdev Gautam – Unity cannot be achieved by insulting the main leader

CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that the party will not be united by insulting the main leader. At a meeting of the UML Central Committee held in Baluwatar on Friday. Vice-Chairman Gautam said that the cadres would split if the main leader was not treated with respect.

‘If the main leader is not treated with respect, the bottom line is broken. There is no unity by insulting the main leader. Don’t rush, there should be unity with Madhav Nepal, ‘said Gautam.

He said that the unity of UML should be brought to a meaningful conclusion. “When the Central Committee election was held yesterday, Comrade Madhav had only nine members. The situation is the same now,” he said. Gautam said that the formation of a negotiating committee should not be abandoned.

“It simply came to our notice then. Otherwise, we will all end, ‘said Gautam. He also said that the party was in favor of the Ekta Party and personally in favor of Chairman Oli.

Gautam has concluded that it was a mistake to sign Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister. “If I had, I would have resigned from the party and signed in favor of Deuba,” he said.
