Apple Billion Users
The world’s most valuable company, Apple has crossed a new milestone in iPhone sales figures. According to the latest statistics, the number of iPhone users in the world has exceeded 1 billion. At the same time, one out of every seven people in the world uses an iPhone.
However, the number of users of the premium iPhone is not the same worldwide. The number of iPhone users is high in developed countries and low in developed and developing countries.
Geographically, Europe and the United States have the highest number of iPhone users, while most developed and developing countries in Asia have more smartphone users than the iPhone. However, in the last two years, the number of iPhone users in Asian developed and developing countries has increased significantly.
Apple’s record, the number of apple users exceeded 1 billion
According to Neil Cybart, a technology analyst, the number of iPhone users in the world has crossed the 1 billion mark before the launch of the iPhone 12 series last month. From this, despite the high price, the user seems to have a great attraction towards the iPhone.
Apple surpassed the billion iPhone users milestone last month (according to my estimate). I used the opportunity to take a closer look at the iPhone business and who is buying iPhones. The iPhone business has gradually become an upgrading business.https://t.co/ZgQlLWJeGp pic.twitter.com/AXC29a736x— Neil Cybart (@neilcybart) October 29, 2020
Remember: The iPhone has stopped publicizing the ups and downs of iPhone sales and sales records two years ago. However, citing sources close to Apple, analysts have revealed that iPhone sales have crossed the 1 billion mark.
Apple first introduced the iPhone in 2008. Apple’s first iPhone sold 11 million units in its first year. Then Apple did not have to go back. By 2009, 28 million iPhones were sold, by 2010, 60 million, and by 2011, 116 million iPhones were sold.
Apple, which managed to sell 206 million iPhones by 2012, had sold 442 million iPhones by 2014.
By 2015, 569 million iPhones had been sold, by 2016, 710 million, by 2017, 814 million and by 2018, 888 million iPhones were sold.
Last year, by the end of 2019, Apple had sold 948 million iPhones. This year, before the end of 2020, the number of iPhone sales in September last year has managed to reach a record of 1 billion.
Looking ahead, Apple has three primary priorities, or goals, for the iPhone:
- Push camera technology boundaries.
- Increase the value found with iPhone ownership.
- Increase the number of roles handled by the iPhone.
How many Apple users are there?
100 million iPhone users
Currently there are more than 100 million iPhone users in the United States, accounting for about 45 percent of all smartphone users in the United States.
Will Apple last forever?
